Pirate's Coast Adventure

The festival waterfront will be transformed into an interactive encampment with 50 pirates giving festival-goers a taste of what seafaring life was like during the golden age of piracy from 1650-1750.

NEW highlight attraction features realistic demonstrations, rollicking singing, dancing, and storytelling, treasure hunts, live parrots, photo ops and more!

Free Men Of The Sea – is a living history and entertainment organization whose members have appeared in documentaries and movies, and consulted about piracy and privateering with the History Channel, A&E and Turner Broadcasting, Mystic Seaport, and the New England Pirate Museum.

Black Rose II Privateers – are best known for its “Firing Line Show,” a display and demonstration of piracy weapons. They are members of the Living History Assoc and can be found doing Pirate events all over New England. They have a seven year history doing The New Hampshire Renaissance Faire, several reenactments and most of all entertaining at The Oyster Festival for the last couple of seasons

Bawdy Buccaneers – are a band of unusually sober pirates whose musical performances range from sea shanties and ballads to non-period songs, including the group’s favorite “stolen oldies,” familiar melodies with a piratical twist.

THE CREW OF THE DOUBLOON- are a sword fighting and comedy troupe, performing shows throughout New England. Their special blend of intense, Hollywood style action, audience interaction and geekly, groan inducing humor are sure to entertain the entire family.
This time out, the crew gets less than they expected and far more than they bargained for as they divide up the lost "TREASURE OF TIKTA K'TOH!"
